AR362 is 8.7 nautical miles from New Topsail Inlet on a heading of 126 degrees and is marked by a yellow buoy. It is officially known as Tom Boyette Reef but locally known as “the first set of box cars”. The original material used to make the reef was train boxcars thus the name. In 1992 and 2002 concrete pipes were added to the site.
