Gaffer, Aftergolf - it is a blast.  If you haven’t vertical jigged before you will be hooked.  You do work hard though - unlike trolling where the boat does some of the work, you do it all.  But you get to feel every nuance the fish makes as you fight it.  I love it.  and of course you can’t go wrong with the Roscoe jig - Bluewater Candy makes good stuff!

Jodie is a great guy and makes really good gear.  I use his lures and his dredge for dragging baits.  Not sure I have enough drag on my offshore spinning gear to handle the weight of those fish.  Looks like a blast.
