Guys: do any of you have any idea what makes them “tick” ? figure this one out. Tommorrow is our 26 wedding anniversary so I ask my beautiful bride where she would like to go and/or do for our anniversary. She tells me she would like to spend a couple of days in Ocracoke village.
Now you have to understand we live at the beach (Emerald Isle) seven days a week 52 weeks a year. Go figure. Wanting to spend vacation/anniversary at another beach. Oh and we didn’t get married nor spend our honey moon there.
Now she’s out shopping for a couple of outfits to wear while there.??
Man I’ll never figure them out… and they wonder why we want to go fishing all the time.?

I’m laughing.  Cause the wife and I like to vacation on the Outer Banks - usually up around Nags Head - evry once in a while.  It may be the beach but it is much different than down here.  Change of pace is nice….......

Yes a change of pace is nice. A couple of months ago she was talking about Atlanta, D.C. or the Biltmore House. Now it’s Ocracoke.
Don’t get me wrong I’m not complaining about going to Ocracoke. I love the beach, sand and saltwater. In fact everything I need is right here on this island, except Lowe’s and it’s just a couple of miles across the bridge.
Ocracoke is by far much cheaper on my wallet. I just never know what she is going to decide until she decided.

well i did not agree with you mr…being a women i think its a good thing that she want to go there and stay out there..well shopping idea is also not bad but i think you should think that if you love her you should not think about any cheap rates,your wallet or anything because this time will not come again after 4,or 5 years even you both have no time for spend a whole day together…so live and live joyful today…have a nice journey.
