The bite is right on schedule for the Mahi again this year. We loaded the boat and headed out toward the Same-Ole out of Carolina Beach. It was a beautiful morning for a 65 mile boat ride.  Once on site we set out the hardware dressed with ballyhoo and wasn’t long before the action began. The first bite was a skip tuna which was my first but everything after that was all mahi. Ended the day with 12 total some in the 20-25 lb. range. Most fish were caught several miles inside the same-ole on a narrow weedline. Looking forward to the next adventure.
