I’m Topsail Angler, owner of this site.  I grew up in Jacksonville, NC and now live in Hampstead.  I have been fishing the water here since I was a young boy.  I can remember many a summer night camped out on one of the island’s piers, sleeping bag and cooler in tow.  I really enjoy fishing this area and am happy to share and learn with other folks on this site!

I fish from a 19’s Maycraft and go by “Fly-A-Way on the radio.  I usually monitor channels 68, 69 and 72 (as well as 9 & 16).  Give me a shout if you see me on the water.

First, I love the website.  I live in Greenville but have a mobile home in Surf City….I always check the ‘angler to see whos been catching what, especially when I’m away from the water. 
Anyway, I’ll be looking for you on the water.  My boat is a 1981 20’ Boston Whaler Outrage, I call her ‘Pirasea.’ (Like ‘piracy’ spelled differently).
